collecting data

well to be accurate. I've finish collecting data by now, it's mainly up to the writing report section. So since the last time I blogged, I have sinced the first round of my experiment. I have since then conducted a second round just to make sure the results are correct.
Anyways it seems
1. coke is the quickest to be discontinured due to alteration in physical appearance of the contact lense after 3 days
2. orange juice is the quickest to change also, however this is in the appearance of the juice. Despite the false alarm, it quickly follows the coke in the path of being discontinued.
3. the dish detergent solified in around 4 days, therefore preserving the contact
4. the vinegar also "survived", with no alteration in physical appearance of contact. However the liquid started to evaporate near the end of the experiement.

end

better get typing :)

starting to self-destructed

1.Orange juice is attracting unwanted interruption from insects and bugs. Also developed a 'skin' layer of white on top of the liquid
2. my 'coke' contact test has be stopped and not recorded because it showed signs of erosion within a week
3. my dish detergent is hardening to a slight solid and blue-ish aqua substance.
4. reminding myself to get some more photos up

my 2nd post reposted METHOD

material needed: four 1. Day Acuvue moist brand soft contacts, four beakers(glass cups), thermometer, measuring cylinder(measuring cups), liquids;coke, dish detergent, orange juice, white cooking vinegar

my METHOD is
1) Obtain 4 already sterilized soft contacts of the 1. Day Acuvue moist brand and other equipment
2) Measure and record he thickness and diameters for the contacts
3) Place contacts into separate 'beakers' (glass cups) which are containing 100 mL of different liquids; coke, dish detergent, orange juice and white cooking vinegar.
4) Leave the contact to rest in the liquid at room approximate temperature(25 degrees Celsius)and a dim and dry environment.
5) Observe for signs of erosion and moulding. Any liquid or contact showing signs of erosion will be recorded but discontinued.
6) Experiment will be stopped after a two week period and all results and observations will be recorded.
7) Experiment will be repeated at least two more time to make sure results are valid and if there is a possible trend.
